A Cats were working boats of 19th-century American life. A Cats belong to the catboat family, wooden vessels developed up and down the coast of the northeastern United States for fishing and water taxis in the early 1800’s. Catboats were on the brink of extinction but a few very determined people restored them and built replicas. Each one would have to be cleared by each family member.
